A Member of the Order of Canada, an Officer of the Order of Québec and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada and of the American Psychological Association, her work has been recognized through numerous awards and honorary distinctions.
Since 2005, Isabelle Peretz has been the founding co-director of the international laboratory for Brain, Music, and Sound research (BRAMS), which she directed until June 2018.
